The Tale of Salman: Rescued the Ravens Baby Fell from a Ravens’s Nest
My name is Salman. This incidence happened to me, and I would want to share how I rescued the life of a baby crow. My residence was home to an extremely tall java plum tree. A crow had built a nest on a very high limb. The Crow family had a tiny youngster. The baby crow’s parents would feed it every day. One day, I went under a java plum tree and observed a baby crow fall from its nest.
I noticed the crow’s parents were consoling their child by shouting loudly, as if to say, “We are with you, do not fear.” They also brought him food. The crow’s parents were showing him how to ascend the branch again. Evening fell, and darkness spread. After dusk, I was concerned since wild cats used to visit my house and hunt birds.
I noticed a black wild cat approaching gently towards the baby crow. When I glanced at the baby crow, it could not scale the high branch of the tree and was sitting in one spot. After the night’s darkness, the young crow’s parents went to sleep in their nest.
I began keeping a watch on the black cat. And as soon as the cat jumped towards the baby crow, I whacked it with a stick, and it fled in panic. Then I placed a large pot on top of the baby crow, secured it with a weight so that the cat could not move it again, and positioned it so that the oxygen could continue to circulate.
Then I slept soundly at night. The next morning, the young crow’s parents flew around, frightened. Their crowing sounds echoed throughout the area. It seems that the entire crow family had gathered.
All the ravens were searching for their baby, whom I had hidden under a pot. I awoke late in the morning, and the crows had already risen. The birds had made a commotion.
I got the young crow out from under the pot. Then he departed. The newborn crow drew its parents’ attention by cawing, and all of the other crows flew to their nests.
Later that day, I observed the crows tending to their young and retraining them to ascend the branches. The young crow was following its parents’ instructions and was eventually able to ascend the branch to the top of the nest.
