If those Afghans had tied themselves to an airplane with a rope, could they have reached the United States alive?

If a person is tied up outside the plane so that he does not fall, he will still die during the flight. Usually, airplanes fly at a speed of one thousand kilometers per hour at an altitude of about 10 kilometers.  At this altitude, there is almost no oxygen and the temperature is minus 35 degrees Celsius.  In these circumstances, it is practically impossible for a human being to survive.

What is the highest point in the sky on which a person can live or die?

At 8000 feet, or up to a maximum of 10,000 feet, a person can breathe.  After that, he has difficulty breathing.  Passenger planes typically fly between 35,000 and 40,000 feet in altitude.

An airplane with an open cabin that allows passengers to enjoy the surroundings comfortably flies at what altitude?

8000 feet altitude was maintained for passengers in the open-cabin aircraft.  As a result, breathing is not an issue.  Yet the outside air is used to breathe in the cabin as well.
An example is training planes with a height of 8,000 feet.  During the flight, they also have windows open and reach a maximum altitude of 8000 feet. Every airplane flies at a different altitude. In case a healthy, energetic and healthy person is tied by the outer surface of a plane flying very high in the sky. Passenger planes typically fly at an altitude of 60,000 feet above sea level.  At an altitude of 60,000 feet, the temperature is minus 20 degrees Celsius. A healthy person will turn into ice.

Does a person who wears clothing that keeps him warm from the cold survive?

Wearing clothing that helps a healthy person maintain their body temperature even in extremely cold temperatures will keep them alive, but the oxygen at very high altitudes will be greatly reduced, which is very dangerous.

When does oxygen deplete at the highest altitude?

When you’re 60,000 feet in the air, oxygen levels are severely depleted.  At this altitude, oxygen molecules are dispersed far and wide.  Even a healthy person who is wearing warm clothes will survive the cold, but he will have difficulty breathing, so he will feel the need to take an oxygen cylinder.
