My self is Ali, I reside in a verdant section of Karachi. Once It had been raining in the summertime since the morning, sporadically heavily. Winged ants suddenly arrived on all sides of the home as night fell in the evening. I am afraid because winged ants may bite just like regular ants and because they fly throughout my home, landing in the kitchen, living rooms, and den. I am now interested to find out if it can bite or hazardous for us.
After it rained, their wings appear to have emerged from the body. Although it is a well-known truth that people believe the wing emerged following the rain, this is untrue. An ant typically lays two different kinds of eggs: some are fertilized by the mating of a male and female ant, while other eggs develop without the assistance of a male ants.
Fertilized eggs hatch fast into adult ants. On the other hand, these fertilized eggs that were generated without males remain secure in the anthills. When hot weather occurs and the air becomes more humid due to rain, these eggs hatch without males ants and the wing ants emerge. These winged ants emerge from their tunnels and go to the skies after the ant colony has no space after the ants hatch from their eggs. Ants are extremely sociable, which is why when an ant leaves its group via mistak, it dies for 6 days and behaves differently. Ants move all the time and cannot digest their food. This is how they starved and died. Likewise, when ants become ill, they prefer to be separated from their group and die alone. This fact is incredible.
During the rainy season, they fly to their new home and mate with males and females. This flight is known as a nuptial flight, in which the male dies and the female ant builds a nest and lays her eggs.
Although these flying ants are harmless, if you are sick of seeing them around your home, you can get rid of them by using insecticide spray that you can get at the store.
